“Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.” Rabindranath Tagore

Older Adults

“There is a fountain of youth: it is your mind, your talents, the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of people you love. When you learn to tap this source, you will truly have defeated age.” – Sophia Loren

Older adults, having mastered the art of living, often find themselves at a crossroads having to confront new life challenges.  They find themselves having to adapt to life transition like the idea of getting older, changing family and work roles, and learning to cope with grief and loss.  Older adults may also be trying to come to terms with a changing perception of their own longevity and mortality.   Unaddressed, these underlying feelings can lead to distress, loneliness and isolation.

I hope to help alleviate your depressive symptoms and find greater life satisfaction.  As your therapist, I will meet you where you are and work in an interdisciplinary model to help you reach your goals for a healthier, insightful, and more connected life.
